This is an old revision of the document!
While the environment and scenery are visually fairly indistinct from what we saw, they were interesting enough, with materials to gather, enemies to defeat, and puzzles to solve. We played through a brief logic puzzle that was just above the boss fight demo, and it was a Tetris block-style conundrum that was a fun distraction. Obviously, one puzzle isn't enough to judge an entire game's worth of open world content so it's mostly speculation at this point, but based on other closed beta impressions/streams it looks like the world of Wuthering Waves will have more than enough on offer to keep people interested in its early days (Image: https://twinfinite.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Wuthering-Waves-Ganxue-Souvenir-Shop-items.jpg?resize=9912C557?w=600)On top of the in-game currencies, Wuthering Waves features a character progression system tied to gathering materials through combat, challenges, boss fights, and overworld exploration. These are called Resonator Ascension Materials, and are vital in progressing an account's strength and ability to adapt to content as it is released. As of right now, here is a list of the available Resonator Ascension Materials acquirable through exploration or the Pharmacy s Tutorials & Mechanics Guides How to Unlock Dailies How to Skip Cutscenes How to Increase Player Union Level How to Fast Travel How to Test Run Characters How To Take Photos & Where to Find Saved Photos How To Change Time How to Play In Co-Op Mode How To Get Money (Shell Credits) How To Get Astrite How to Lower Difficulty How to Increase The Data Bank How to Use Echo Pity How to Super Jump How to Upgrade Weapons How to Increase Stamina Daily Reset Time Intro & Outro Skill What are Waveplates? There's a wide array of content immediately available, and when I asked about post-launch plans, there wasn't a concrete answer but an obvious indication it's something that's already a consideration. There's also the fact that the team has been so readily willing to listen to player feedback. A lot of the improved elements present in this hands-on and the second closed beta are a direct result of players' complaints from the first round of testing, with some pretty drastic redesigns already made in respo While combat was a showcase of improvements and innovations, the brief amount of open world traversal/hub navigation available in the hands-on indicates that Wuthering Waves exploration will be a solid bedrock of what already works in the genre. Grappling hooks, gliders, and sprinting were all options, and each was implemented smoothly. There's also a parkour system that lets characters run up walls/cliffsides, which is a nice touch and an improvement on the slow climb other titles tend to h A common misconception about Mortefi is that the main DPS to be paired with him must rely on heavy attacks to deal damage. That is not a requirement. While it does help if the main DPS uses heavy attacks as it takes advantage of his outro skill’s buff to heavy attacks (38%) and allows Mortefi’s ultimate skill to trigger twice on each heavy attack, this Liberatin also triggers once on basic attacks. And since basic attacks are always faster than heavy attacks, it balances Verina is an excellent healer in Wuthering Waves who, like Mortefi, fits into any team. In this team, her ultimate, combined with Mortefi’s ultimate, allows Calcharo to deal incredible on-field damage for the duration of his Liberat Daily tasks play a significant role in most games, particularly in the end-game phase. In Wuthering Waves , after players exhaust all available quests and exploration opportunities, dailies emerge as the primary source of Asterite income, complemented by occasional events. Therefore, especially for F2P players, prioritizing the completion of daily tasks is crucial. The good news is that Activity Points, can be acquired through multiple avenues. These include defeating high-level enemies, finishing daily quests, absorbing echoes scattered throughout the world , and engaging in various in-game activit For an all-round good team for the early game, we recommend using Rover as your main DPS, Sanhua as a secondary DPS, and Baizhi as a support/healer. This team is strong enough to carry you through the early Union Levels and story content until you unlock more 5-star charact Wuthering Waves ** is the latest effort from developer Kuro Games ( Punishing: Gray Raven ). It's an action RPG gacha title set to release for iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation, and borrows heavily from already popular titles within the same space - most obviously Genshin Impact , which it will inevitably draw numerous comparisons to. That's certainly not a bad place to start, however, and what Wuthering Waves events Waves innovates is more than enough to separate it as a game worth watching as it moves closer to a global release following another round of closed beta te
