-There’s no real choices and trade-offs to be made anymore. The same goes for the rest of the game. The in-depth and often rewarding dialogue trees are gonereplaced with options that boil down to whether or not the player character is going to be either nice or sarcastic nice. There are no karma checks, no skill checks, no special checks, nor even long and interesting conversations to be had. Dialogue might as well just be there because previous Fallout games had it. The list could go on, but is perhaps better saved for another timeAs it stands,Fallout 4 has gained massive mainstream success. It just had to become a different game in order to get ita game that’s much more a shooter with RPG elements than it is an RPG with shooter elements. It became a game one that fans of the old Fallout games have grown to hate and possibly series that RPG fans in may no longer care about in the futureTaken on it’s own It’s a decent game, but one that has nonetheless been compromised for the sake of short-term sales. The same is true of Dead Space 3.+The most immediate change is the environment. The Tower always seemed like an elusive thing; my Guardian didn’t feel close to those she was supposedly protecting. How is one supposed to feel like a hero when there really isn’t anyone worth saving? Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, whether fighting actual battles or just being that person someone looks up to, heroes aren’t made without those to protect. Although, it could be argued Guardians are more warriors…never mind, no need to go down that pathNeedless to sayGuardians are now invested in the people they are protectingthey are going out into the world and fighting back whatever might threaten community broken. It connects Guardians to something worth fighting for: relationship.

-Destiny 2 did manage to fix a couple of small issues from the first gamebut it’s otherwise taken several steps backIts consumable cosmetics and loot box-style method of awarding gear encourages hoarding and disengagement from the end-game grindIts failure to offer at least as many features as the original Destiny has unsurprisingly led to rapid onset of player boredomWorst of allits neutering of the PvE’s moment-to-moment gameplay has resulted in a sequel that just isn’t as much fun to playDestiny 2 may indeed have a loot problem as so many are loudly pointing out, but that’s small potatoes compared to these major fundamental flaws.+Anyone hoping for more enemy species in Destiny 2 are bound to be disappointed. In addition to the Taken mentioned aboveall four of the previous species returnYou have the hulking Cabal, four-armed Taken, zombie Hive and time-traveling Vex. It’s disappointing that a named sequel doesn’t have any new species for players to fight, but there are a handful of new things going on within each of the current factions.
+Following The Collapse, the remainder of Humanity was not too happy to see The Fallen mysteriously appearing. While Humans were picking themselves up after nearly being wiped out, these tribal scavengers swooped in to pick at the remainsWith constant battles against the Guardiansmost notably the Battle of the Twilight Gap, The Fallen were relentless with their assaults against The Last City in order to gain access to the TravelerUnfortunately, they were mostly unsuccessful (with both sides sustaining high casualties), at least not until they were able to section off an area of Earth that contained SiVA technology, but that’ll come much later. One of the most well known tribes, The House of Wolves, went to battle with The Reef during this time, which they ultimately lost. Now, while The Fallen are plentiful, their houses have become disorganized and their allegiances varying.

-Convinced yetGuardian? Ready to come back to the fold instead of drinking your woes away locked in a dark dingy Tower bar? Sureyou might see Cayde-6 roll on throughbut does he really have anything interesting to say yet? He’s just waiting for the action he has no idea is on the wayThe Cabal have been long time coming and what better way to kick off Destiny 2 then an all-out assault on the place Guardians call home? Get it while it’s hot Guardianthe Tower won’t be around for much longer and all that hard work youve put in over the years (or ignored)well either keep at it or kiss it good byeSee you in spaceGuardian.+There was no way a Persona game would slip past my radar. Shin Megami Tensei IV was easily my number one game last yearso it only seems fitting that another in the beloved franchisewhile a spin-offwas among my top 10 in 2014Persona Q is fan’s dreammeshing both Persona 3 and Persona 4 into a traditional dungeon crawler format similar to that of Etrian Odyssey. While its not your traditional Persona format with fusing various monsters and dealing with social interactions outside of dungeons, it maintains all of the glamour and appealIt definitely has its own set of issuesbut there’s just too much to love about mashing the characters from the two games and building an intriguing storyline around them.

-The most exciting thing by far is the fact that all the Raids are backUpdated Raids matching appropriately the light level of Guardians and its fair because it’s not even the max light level of 400it’s 390. This ensures that more people will get to experience the Raidsinstead of [[https://www.destiny2focus.com/|just click the following webpage]] the top tier level players. Besides having free reign on all Raids and smashing in some old baddies' faces, the updated Raids come with something even more worthwhile: the coolest armor to ever come out of DestinyWhile I havent been the biggest fan of some of the armor choices made by Bungie, whoever thought of this totally revamped package of all armor was a genius. Seeing the new Raid armor was enough to sell me on Age of Triumph — Vault of Glass aside. It just looks so space-magic, and isn’t that what it’s all about?+Bungie has completely overhauled the way guns are classified in Destiny 2In the original gameyou had a primarya secondary and a heavy weaponThats gone, replaced by the new KineticEnergy and Power classification system.

-Whether youre a grown adult or a childwho doesn’t love Pokémon? The release of the Gameboy Advance began arguably the best era for handheld games, and leading the march was Pokémon Ruby and SapphireThese twelve year old games brought us the third generation of Pokémon we love today, so it seemed only fit for Nintendo to remake the duo. With their new 3D engine, Nostalgia hits hard for those who grew up in the late 90s and early 00sas Game Freak was able to recreate everything you’ve come to love, while at the same time adding on top of it. While it would still be great to see new Pokémon adventuresthis is one of the few cases remake was warranted. Now all we need a second remake of Red and Blue.+Ill admit itI was worried for Sunset Overdrive. We barely got to see anything at E3, and what they were demoing was a tower defense-esque multiplayer modeIt seemed to have all the charm that Insomniac Games is known for, but you could never be certain with the amount of hype Microsoft was putting behind it. Thankfullythe Burbank-studio delivered as Sunset Overdrive is an enthralling, over the top shooter that messes Jet Set Radio with Crackdown into one neat package. With fourth wall breaking dialogue, one of the most colorful open worlds to be found, and creative arsenal at your disposal, Sunset Overdrive is Xbox One’s prized jewel.

-Placing all the powerful weapons in the same category has good potential for PvP, but it’s also functional misstep in terms of PvE. Power weapon ammo drops more often in Destiny 2 than heavy weapon ammo in Destiny 1, but still not nearly as often as kinetic or energy weapon ammoSo right away there’s less incentive to use that ammo for any weapon other than a rocket or grenade launcher. Why waste that relatively rare and precious ammo on a sniper rifle when it could instead be spent on something much more powerfulIts the same issue with abilities in that they’re all restricted by ridiculously-slow cooldowns. Instead of enjoying the ability to toss a grenade into a group of minor enemiesdodge around the battlefield at one’s leisure or even pop super to take on mid-bossthe game encourages players to bank them instead. To use ones abilities in any situation other than the most desperate is to see them go to wasteNobody wants to be caught staring at a cool-down meter when theyre stuck in a tight spotThese can at least be adjusted a bit with mods, but who wants to waste their mods on anything other than top-tier armor? The net result is gameplay that’s gone from fast-paced, fluid and fun, to something slowlimited and dull with no incentive whatsoever to make use of the game’s most enjoyable weapons and powers. If the developers truly felt that these changes were necessary to achieve more fun and balanced Crucible, then perhaps it would have been better to just separate the Crucible from the rest of the game.(Image: [[https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/destiny-2-we-stand-unbroken-week2-5.jpg|https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/destiny-2-we-stand-unbroken-week2-5.jpg]])+[[https://Www.Destiny2Focus.com/|Destiny 2 Exotics]]’s sequel still has stunning lack of features, of new things to do in and with its contentWhere’s the variety of Crucible modes? Where are the custom lobbies? Where is Horde mode and strike scoringWhat about customizable difficulty and gameplay modifiers? Why dont we have any in-game systems we can use to challenge ourselves and our friends? If incentive is necessarywhy not offer emblems for running strikes, story missions or even raids with certain modifiers turned on? How about system to share or feature custom-made challenges and offer small sum of Silver for popularity? Additional raids, strikes and explorable spaces are nicebut they dont solve the problemFeatures, things to do with that content, do solve the problem and Destiny 2 currently doesnt even offer as many as its predecessor.
 +
+It'a bit nerve-racking that lore, while mentioned, didnt come up that muchother than story content. With such a serious overhaul to storygameplay and the two combined, it’s odd that Bungie would leave out what they’ve done for Destiny lore access to the player base. They introduced number of needed fixes (maps) and while these are already a drastic improvement to the core Destiny game, lore seems out of reach for the momentIt’s not to say that Bungie won’t talk about it later, but stillWhile not showcasing access to lore, it's most certainly thereFor lore nerds like myself, Destiny already looks to be a dream come true.
